Enhancing special education

We enhance teaching strategies, capacity, and empathy for greater social inclusion alongside teachers and parents of children ages 3-6 with special needs.

Problem

At the Centro de Educación Básica Especial (CEBE) Manuel Duato, there is a need to strengthen the work while involving teachers and parents to achieve greater inclusion for children in the Institutions of Initial Education (IIE), the country’s Basic Regular Education system.

Project

The project seeks to improve teaching strategies for CEBE teachers, training and sensitizing IIE teachers and accompanying families.

Comunidad

Children ages 3-6 with special needs.
